Lithuania to Poland

The grounds of the Suwalki 'Institute' and Our Lady of Mercy Church have numerous monuments, a grotto and sculptures of religious figures. Suwałki once had a thriving Jewish community but this town, as did many others, suffered around the time of the holocaust with all Jews being removed and killed.
